Does the thought of learning to use a computer
intimidate you?
Do you need to acquire new computer skills to land your dream job?
Would you like to stay in touch with your relatives and friends
using email on your computer?
Have you found computer classes to be too fast or too slow for your
needs?
If you answered yes to any of these questions, it may be time for
some individual computer tutoring.
Private tutoring is easy,
because you:
| |
|
|
Learn through individualized tutoring
Learn to be confident in your new skills
Learn without intimidation |
|
Learn at your own pace
Learn in your comfort zone
Learn on your own computer |
I can help you overcome your fear of computers by
tutoring you in the comfort of your own home or office. Computers
intimidated me until I learned how to use one. Now, with over 14
years’ experience as a computer tutor, I have many satisfied clients
who also overcame computer fears. What a feeling of accomplishment
and pride when you can tell everyone that finally, you too, can use
a computer!
In my many years of tutoring, I have found that a weekly one-hour
tutoring session works best for most students. However, if you
prefer to accelerate your progress, more frequent sessions are
available. The skills learned during a session will challenge but
not overwhelm you.
When I teach you how to use a computer, I never touch the keyboard;
I sit next to you the entire time, gently and patiently guiding you
through the basics or with any specific information you need to
learn.
My method of computer tutoring is based on logic,
so you will learn
to use the computer in a systematic order.
I also promise to help
"demystify" your computer for
you and remove your fears of "breaking
it!" Then you must practice, practice, practice.
With individual
private tutoring, you don’t compete with other students. You can
progress at your own speed and comfort level to achieve your goals.
